With 21 shades to choose from and even a round of three corrector shades this little tube of concealer promises opaque, creamy coverage with a crease-free wear that concealers darkness and skin imperfections.Īfter reading and watching many reviews on this little concealer I thought it was finally about time I tried it myself. If you’re new to the whole colour correcting concept, I think these would be a great starting point as they’re so budget friendly yet they’re very effective too and with seven shades to choose from, you’re guaranteed to find a shade which works for you. The Highlighter shade is so, so pretty and it reminds me of the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Liquid in Pearl as it’s a beautiful pearlescent shade which I love to apply on my cheekbones for an icy glow. I really like all four shades, especially the Peach Corrector as it works amazingly at disguising my sleepless nights so I don’t have to go too heavy with my concealer.
These shades are relatively pale in comparison but they’re still very effective at correcting and if you have a medium to dark skintone, they do have darker shades to choose from too which I think is pretty good for such a budget brand. Due to my very pale skin, I have struggled to find colour corrector shades which work for my skintone as they tend to be quite bold in colour so they’re difficult to cover with my foundation. I am so impressed with these LA Girl HD Pro Conceal Color Correctors as they’re very creamy and pigmented. Highlighter – A delicate, pearlescent finish that illuminates your face with a beautiful glow. Light Yellow Corrector – Corrects dullness caused by blue undertones and brightens under eye circles. Lavender Corrector – Neutralizes unwanted yellow undertones and sallowness.
Peach Corrector – A lighter version of our popular Orange Corrector -conceals blue/purple undertones on fair skin tones and counteracts general dullness. The coverage of the concealers is amazing, just like the original HD Concealer formula except these are obviously tinted in order to colour correct the skin, with each shade having the following use I decided to include both an intense swatch and a blended swatch of each of the LA Girl HD Pro Conceal Color Correctors to show you how intensely pigmented each shade is, with the intense swatches being just a couple of swipes of product with the brush applicator. Beauty Chamber stock the seven shades of the Color Corrector range and I have the Peach Corrector, Lavender Corrector, Light Yellow Corrector and Highlighter shades. The LA Girl HD Pro Conceal Color Correctors £4.99 are packaged within plastic, squeezy tubes with a slightly long brush applicator which dispenses the concealer when you squeeze the tube gently and the brush actually works pretty well for application but I tend to follow up with a small concealer buffing brush to ensure my concealer is completely blended.
The original LA Girl HD Concealer lineup had a few colour correctors, but there are now a lot more shades and I have three of the new LA Girl HD Pro Conceal Color Correctors from the collection all of which are available to purchase from Beauty Chamber. I’m a really big fan of the LA Girl HD Pro Conceal High Definition Concealer in the shade Porcelain which I raved about previously here, so I was excited to learn that LA Girl had extended the Concealer range by adding a selection of Colour Correcting shades.
